Renault y Fiat se unen para fabricar un nuevo utilitario
Las automotrices firmaron un acuerdo mediante el cual presentarán en el mercado un nuevo modelo del segmento comercial liviano.
Las automotrices francesa e italiana concretarán un nuevo proyecto según el cual Renault suministrará a Fiat un vehículo utilitario liviano. La marca del Rombo será la encargada de proveer la plataforma, mientras que el diseño del vehículo será desarrollado por Fiat. Al mismo tiempo, este vehículo dispondrá de elementos únicos y distintivos, bajo la marca Fiat Professional. El vehículo será fabricado por Renault en Francia a partir del segundo semestre de 2016 El acuerdo forma parte del plan anunciado por Sergio Marchionne, CEO de Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), quien el 30 de enero, cuando nació la compañía bajo ese nombre, dijo que saldrían a buscar nuevos aliados en toda la industria, sin prejuicios ni obstáculos.
