En extinción. Cada vez son menos los autos gasoleros que se ofrecen en el país. Pero algunos sobreviven y las marcas se niegan a discontinuarlos. En Motriz te mostramos las opciones, sus ventajas y desventajas
¿Motor diesel o naftero?. La pregunta está desapareciendo en los salones de venta de las grandes concesionarias, porque son cada vez menos las marcas y modelos que conservan ambas alternativas en los autos de pasajeros. Sin embargo, todavía hay algunos referentes y también hay clientes muy fieles que se niegan a cambiar por otro combustible. El cambio comenzó cuando muchos autos empezaron a requerir del gas oil premium para circular, el cual es más caro. Esto se suma al precio extra que hay que pagar para acceder a estos modelos. De esta manera, la ecuación hace que sea cada vez menos conveniente comprar un 0km con esa motorización, o que lleve mucho más tiempo la amortización. De todos modos, en esta nueva Guía Rápida de Motriz elegimos los que resisten y presentamos los puntos a favor y en contra de cada opción.
Peugeot 408
Gama: De las 10 versiones, cuatro se ofrecen con motor diesel. En todos los casos es la misma motorización, que es el famoso HDI 1.6. de 115cv, en todos los casos con caja manual de 5 velocidades. En cuanto a las opciones son Allure, con aire y dirección asistida; Allure con NAV; Allure más, sima climatizador bizona y seguridad, alama volumétrica y perimétrica y faros antiniebla; y Feline, agrega ESP
Precio: Desde $240.300 hasta $275.100
Se destaca por su respuesta en baja: es muy ágil en la ciudad, inclusive más que el THP naftero de 163 CV. Y también sobresale por el bajo consumo, ya que consume 5L cada 100km. En ciudad el promedio es de 8 litros. También se destaca la autonomía, cercana a los 950 km gracias a sus tanques de 60 litros.
Al contar únicamente con caja de quinta, su marcha es un poco corta y en ruta parece que el motor se “enrosca”, por lo cual le faltaría otra marcha.
El dato: En pocos días más el 408 y su hermano sin baúl, el 308, llegarán al mercado con un restyling. Los cambios se verán especialmente en la parte frontal y faros. Así, la marca volverá a buscar el liderazgo entre los sedanes medianos.
Peugeot 207
Gama: Son dos versiones, una con motor diesel. Es el HDI con 70cv. La versión que se ofrece es la Compact 5 puertas 1.4 Allure. Tiene caja manual de 5 marchas. Es un auto que irá desapareciendo del mercado, teniendo en cuenta que el 208 es el nuevo chico del León. Tiene equipamiento más antiguo, como radio con CD. El consumo promedio es de 5.5 litros.
Precios: $224.900 (valor al 19/02/16 según ACARA)
Es el más chico de Peugeot con motor diésel. También es el más barato, aunque está en extinción.
Es un auto viejo, ya para ser discontinuado.
El dato: El 207 sucedió al 206, pero nunca alcanzó su éxito. Fue un restyling apurado que se realizó en Brasil. Ahora, el 208, si es el verdadero sucesor del segmento B.
Citroën C4 Lounge
Gama: De las 6 versiones que ofrece, solo una cuenta con motor HDI, que es la Tendance. Es el mismo motor que el 408, porque ambos son modelos del grupo PSA. Es el HDI 1.6 de 115cv. Como se discontinuo el Exclusive, tope de gama, este sumó equipamiento como Sistema de Navegación GPS MyWay, con la pantalla LCD color alta definición de 7″ integrada. Tiene climatizador bi-zona. Leds delanteros y traseros. Baúl 450L.
Precio: $342.500 (Valor al 19/02/2016 según ACARA)
Es un auto económico. Además tiene una buena reacción por ser gasolero: acelera de 0 a 100 en 11 segundos y alcanza casi los 190Km/h.
En el motor su funcionamiento tiene las mismas críticas que para el 408. No tiene control de estabilidad ni tracción. Tampoco tiene sensores de estacionamiento ni cámara.
El dato: El C4 Lounge fue lanzado en agosto de 2013. Luego hubo varias renovaciones de gama. Con la reducción del impuesto interno volvió la opción más completa llamada Exclusive, aunque para el diesel lo más completo es Tendance. La marca recomienda usar el combustible más caro, Euro o Infinia.
Volkswagen Vento
Gama: De las cuatro versiones que ofrece, una es con motor diésel. Se trata del 2.0TDI de 110cv, con caja manual de 5 velocidades. Es uno de los más completos en equipamiento desde la entrada de gama, con detector de fatiga, frenos ABS, control de estabilidad, control de tracción, airbag frontal y lateral.
Precio: 2.0TDI 110CV manual MY15 $ 278262
Es un gran referente en el mercado de los gasoleros. Además de ser el más completo en equipamiento.
Perdió potencia, y el motor diesel de 140cv fue reemplazado, ya hace tiempo, por el de 110cv.
El dato: El nuevo Vento se lanzó en enero con un restyling y se completará la gama con la versión full en pocos meses, el cual seguramente llegará con impuesto y con un precio más elevado.
Chevrolet Spin
Gama: De las 8 versiones que ofrece, dos son diésel, una con 5 asientos y otra con 7 asientos, ambas con el equipamiento más completo, llamado LTZ. El motor es turbodiésel de 1.3 litros (Ecotec TD) con 75 CV. Se puede combinar sólo con caja manual de 5 velocidades, mientras que las versiones nafteras (motor 1.8 8v de 105 CV) pueden elegirse también automática. Tiene llantas de aleación de 15″. El baúl tiene 162L con la tercera fila y 553L sin ella. El equipamiento es bastante completo porque es el full: aire acondicionado, equipo de audio con MP3/USB/Aux/Bluetooth, levantavidrios eléctricos, espejos de regulación eléctrica, volante multifunción y sensores de estacionamiento traseros.
Precios: $233.200 (5 asientos); $251.900 (7 asientos)
Es una de las pocas variantes de monovolumen o minivan familiar con motor diésel. Tiene un bajo consumo, de 6,6 litros/100 km. Tiene suspensión blanda y dirección liviana, siendo el motor TD mucho más ágil para reaccionar que el naftero. Tiene excelente respuesta en baja con una caja de cambios precisa.
El espacio de la tercera fila, muy reducido. También pierde el control crucero, que está en la naftera. Y si bien reemplaza a la Meriva, está lejos de ocupar el lugar de la Zafira.
El dato: Reemplaza a las Meriva y Zafira, es decir, dos en uno. Aunque no llega a cumplir los mismos objetivos, y le falta calidad. En 7 asientos la marca se destaca con la Trailblazer, pero mucho más cara. Por otro lado, en cuanto a la Spin, se sumó hace pocos meses la Activ con detalles más aventureros, disponible únicamente con motorización naftera.
Chevrolet Cruze
Gama: De las 10 versiones que ofrece, 4 son diesel. El motor es 2.0 litros con 163cv, y se ofrece solo con caja automáticas tanto para el de 4 como 5 puertas. Las opciones de equipamiento son las intermedia llamada LZ y la full llamada LTZ. Entre los últimos agregados, sumó sensor de estacionamiento trasero en las versiones intermedias.
Precios: Para los de 4 puertas: $251.900 y $383.900 (alcanzado por el impuesto interno). Para el de 5 puertas $250.500 y $278.000
El Cruze diésel es uno de los más buscados, es el más potente de su categoría y se destaca por ser muy silencioso. El bloque de este motor se caracteriza por ser más silencioso y, según indican los registros de fábrica, menos contaminante. Consume 7,1L cada 100 km. El diseño de este auto también marcó un quiebre en la marca, más atractivo, resultado de un trabajo global.
La capacidad interior, especialmente en las plazas posteriores, el más limitado del segmento.
El dato: La nueva generación del Cruze se fabricará en la Argentina, en la planta de Rosario. Es parte del Proyecto Fenix para el cual la marca está inviertiendo u$s720 millones. Hace poco tiempo se lanzó el último restyling.
Ford EcoSport
Gama: Son 10 versiones, 2 con motor diesel. Cuenta con el motor Duratorq 1.5 TDCi Euro V con 90 caballos. Se ofrece en las versiones S y SE, en los dos casos con caja manual de 5 marchas. Son los equipamientos base e intermedio. En el primer caso tiene faros delanteros con guías de luces led, ABS en las 4 ruedas, sistema de conectividad Synk. En la SE agrega llanatas de aleación de 15″, barra de techo, detalles en aluminio
Precio: $248.700 y $264.400
Rápida respuesta del motor con pocas vueltas. Buen consumo: 6.5L cada 100. 4.8L cada 100 en ruta a 1120Km. Tiene un sistema que impide darle arranque en frío: por más que gires la llave, el motor no arrancará hasta que haya culminado el proceso de precalentamiento. Todo esto no dura más de un segundo.
El precio, por la relación con el equipamiento queda elevado. Los detalles en plástico negro del exterior, al no ofrecerse la versión tope de gama. El baúl es chico, de 362 L.
El dato: EcoSport es un pionero en su segmento, el de los SUV chicos. Y aún con la llegada de otros competidores, nadie le pudo robar el liderazgo. También es el único diesel, en una jugada estratégica de Ford: si bien no tiene muchos compradores, quieren guardarse el “as en la manga”, por si en un futuro, por algún motivo, crece la demanda.Etiquetas:Diesel, Guía Rápida de Modelos
