Nissan NP 300 Frontier: presentación oficial
“Vemos en la Argentina un gran potencial, con un mercado de 600.000 a 700.000 unidades”. Así lo aseguró el responsable de la automotriz japonesa para la región durante la presentación de la nueva pick up. Además, anticipó cuáles son los planes para el país.
Llegó el momento. Después de su exhibición en el salón del Automóvil de Buenos Aires, Nissan está concretando el lanzamiento oficial de la nueva NP300 Frontier.
Con un evento realizado entre las ciudades de Tandil y Cariló, se revelaron tanto los detalles de la pick up, (la cual manejaremos durante varios kilómetros), como también los proyectos de la marca para la región, dentro del cual la Argentina tiene un lugar privilegiado.
La nueva pick up será importada desde México hasta que se inicie la fabricación en Córdoba, donde se producirá el vehículo. Este proyecto, que fue anunciado en 2015, estará en marcha en 2017, permitiendo uno de los cambios más importantes para la compañía que es dejar de ser importadora para convertirse en nueva terminal argentina.
Así lo expresó Diego Vignati, Managing Director de Nissan Argentina, quien dio apertura al evento remarcando que además de presentar la pick up, el encuentro tiene que ver con una apuesta de la marca al país.
“Nissan tiene planes fuertes para la Argentina, además, desde las oficinas locales, se guiará parte del crecimiento en la región”, afirmó Vignati.
Por su parte José Román, Managing Director de Nissan para Latinoamérica y el Caribe, dijo “vemos en la Argentina un gran potencial con un mercado de 600.000 a 700.000 unidades”.
En cuanto a la nueva NP300, aseguró que es un vehículo de gran calidad que tiene todas las condiciones para crecer. La visión está puesta en toda la región, y aunque por ahora se deberá esperar la evolución de Brasil, que está en crisis, hay buenas perspectivas tanto por lo qué pasará en la Argentina (donde se reforzará la marca con nuevos productos), como por el crecimiento de mercados vecinos, como Chile.
El mercado local
El segmento de pick ups ganó terreno en la Argentina en los últimos años, en un mercado donde el impuesto interno afectó a las SUV. Ahora, con nuevas reglas de juego, seguirá siendo igual muy importantes y con expectativas de crecimiento, concentrando el 20% del mercado. Este se divide en:
- Pick up Chicas 17%
- Pick up Medianas 82%
- Full Size 1%

Alli los turistas, durante los meses de enero y febrero, podran realizar test drives y conocer en mayor profundidad las caracteristicas que transformaron a la pick-up en el lanzamiento mas esperado del 2016.
