Las ventas de motos arrancaron el año con el pie izquierdo, ya que los resultados no lograron superar al mismo mes de 2015, enero. Según la División Motovehículos de la Asociación de Concesionarios de Automotores de la República Argentina (ACARA), se patentaron 38.475 unidades, lo que significa un descenso del 6,5% frente a enero de 2015, cuando se habían registrado 41.129 unidades.
Si se compara con diciembre, el crecimiento es de 4,4%, ya que el último mes se habían registrado 36.861 unidades.
Por segmento, el de motocicleta sigue siendo el número uno, con más de 36.000 unidades vendidas, seguido por scooters y cuatriciclos, que superan a los llamados ciclomotores.
En cuanto a las marcas. Motomel se ubica en primer lugar, seguida por Corven y Honda. Zanella, Yamaha, Gilera, Guerrero, Bajaj, Mondial y Suzuki completan las 10 líderes.
