Argentina y Brasil tendrán libre comercio hasta 2020
Seguirán sin aranceles aduaneros, pero con límites al intercambio de vehículos. Es decir, Argentina puede importar 1.5 millones de dólares en autos de ese país por cada dólar que exporta.
Después de algunas negociaciones, la Argentina y Brasil renovaron el acuerdo de intercambio automotor. Si bien los paises mantuvieron las mismas reglas, es decir, sin aranceles aduaneros, lo que cambió es que tienen límites para el intercambio de vehículos.
El límite está marcado por un flex de 1,5, es decir, Argentina puede importar 1,5 dólares en autos brasileños por cada dólar de autos argentinos que exporta a Brasil.
Por otro lado, uno de los cambios más importantes es que se fijó para 2020 la apertura del libre comercio automotor entre los dos países. De esta manera, a partir de ese momento no habrá ningún tipo de flex que regule el flujo de vehículos.
La relación con Brasil es la más importante para la Argentina ya que es el destino donde se exporta más del 70 por ciento de la producción de autos locales. Al mismo tiempo, es el principal vendedor a nuestro país. En los últimos años, México fue ganando protagonismo, sin embargo por ser fabricante especialmente de autos medianos y grandes, y más costosos, es menor el flujo.
