Bajaj Pulsar 200: La pequeña pistera llegó a Argentina
El nuevo modelo de la marca India, se suma al creciente segmento de las pisteras de baja cilindrada. Competirá con la recién lanzada KTM RC200. Conocé sus características y precio.
Hace dos meses atrás, en Motriz, realizábamos la prueba de manejo de la KTM RC200 (leer nota), la primer pistera de baja cilindrada de la marca austríaca. Un segmento prácticamente nuevo que viene sumando muchos adeptos, principalmente aquellos quienes buscan iniciarse en la conducción de este tipo de motos que replican la estética de las pisteras de grandes cilindradas (600cc y 1000cc), en dosis lógicamente mucho más comprimidas, tanto de tamaño como de potencia.
La que no quiso quedarse afuera de este creciente segmento es Bajaj. La firma hindú que pese a que el mercado de las dos ruedas viene cayendo un 7% anual, tuvo un crecimiento del 20% en los últimos siete meses y cuyo modelo más vendido en nuestro mercado es la Rouser 200, puso a la venta a la primera hermana de esta, pero con todo la vestimenta que una verdadera pistera.
Y decimos la prima hermana porque comparte muchísimos componentes con la Rouser. Hablamos del chasis perimetral de acero, el sistema de suspensión y principalmente su propulsor de 200cc.
Pero antes de hablar de ello, queríamos detenernos en su lograda estética, la cual es realmente atractiva y replica las líneas afiladas propias de las de mayor cilindrad. Su frontal se destaca, además de su pequeño y anatómico parabrisas para cortar el viento, por su grupo óptico dividido con dos potentes proyecotres de luces redondos (evidentemente inspirados en los de la Yamaha R6), que cuentan con una suerte de ceja que conforman una tira de luces de LEDs.
Ya que mencionamos las luces, las traseras tiene un particular formato, como una U invertida, las cuales se ubica debajo de su colín afilado y se complementan con dos pequeños delgados guiños de cada lado. Nos gustó la solución del corta spray que prácticamente abraza la rueda trasera de manera desapercibida y que resulta realmente útil para evitar que la rueda trasera salpique agua.
Las líneas laterales, como la de todo su carenado y su tanque de nafta, son rectas, afiladas y transmiten sin duda agresividad y vértigo, claro está mucho más de lo que quizás su pequeño motor puede entregar.
Su propulsor ya es conocido en la familia Bajaj. Se trata de un mono cilíndrico DTS-i de 200cc con 4 válvulas, triple bujía, fuel injection y 24.5 CV. Se trata de un motor pequeño, pero más que interesante en este moto que pesa un poco más de 100 kilos. Se acopla a una caja de seis velocidades, correcta justamente para salir a la ruta y “tirar cambios”.
La suspensión trasera está basada en un monoshock, en tanto que la delantera es telescópica, la cual su bien es la misma que la Rouser 200, está ajustada para que la posición de manejo sea más agachada. De hecho, difiere totalmente de la posición del manubrio justamente para que el piloto pueda inclinarse levemente sobre el tanque.

Nos imaginamos a un piloto de talla no muy grande que además de buscar un medio de transporte diario, le interese escaparse los “finde” a recorrer varios kilómetros, ya sea solo o acompañado (tiene doble sillín). Queda pendiente una toma de contacto más profunda para evaluar sus prestaciones. De momento, quedamos más que conformes con lo que exterioriza el nuevo modelo indio.
