Acelera de 0 a 100 en cuatro segundos y alcanza una velocidad máxima limitada electrónicamente a 250 km/h.
En cuanto a su tecnología eléctrica, este modelo tiene un sistema de carga rápida para la batería de 80 kWh, que permite lograr una autonomía de 100 kilómetros en cinco minutos.
En diseño se destaca por su largo capó, con una línea de techo baja, as puertas de ala de gaviota y las llantas de 24 pulgadas. El toque de exclusividad lo aportan los retrovisores exteriores que han sido diseñados como cámaras. El parabrisas delantero funciona como una pantalla transparente de enormes dimensiones. Así, se pueden conocer los datos relacionados con la conducción y la información geográfica a lo largo de toda su anchura, aumentando el mundo exterior con información adicional.
Otra de las novedades de la marca en el Salón es el Generation EQ, un SUV de aspecto cupé y cuatro puertas que se convierte en el primero de una familia de diez modelos que llegarán hasta 2025 de manos de Mercedes Benz.
El desarrollo de última generación de este modelo se percibe desde la arquitectura. Con mezcla de acero, aluminio y fibra de carbono, es muy liviano une en un vehículo la estética de una SUV, con una coupé y un deportivo.
Entre los detalles más atractivos se encuentran el capó color negro, que parece extenderse a lo largo del vehículo gracias al techo panorámico. Tiene cámaras en lugar de espejos retrovisores y en el el interior, una enorme pantalla de aspecto flotante orientada hacia el conductor que ofrece toda la información necesaria. Por último, el infartante AMG GT R COUPÉ con motor V8 de 430 CV completa las novedades más “llamativas y lujosas” de Mercedes Benz en París.
