Peugeot Fractal, apuesta a los sonidos
El nuevo concept del León es un coupé urbano eléctrico que pretende explorar la percepción visual y acústica. Tiene distintos reacciones según el movimiento del conductor.
Peugeot presentará en el Salón del Automóvil de Frankfurt un nuevo prototipo llamado Fractal. Se trata de un coupé urbano eléctrico que ofrece atractivas posibilidades visuales y acústicas.
Diseñado por la unidad de investigación de PSA Peugeot Citroën llamada StelLab, se creó el sistema de sonido ‘9.1.2’, el cual se ubica en la parte posterior de cada asiento. De esta manera, por ejemplo, cuando el conductor cierras las puertas utilizando el sistema remoto SmartWatch, el sistema reproduce un sonido determinado, virtual y consensuado.
Otro aspecto para destacar son las piezas con diferentes formas que fueron realizadas con impresoras 3D, las cuales representan más del 80% de la superficie del interior y algunas partes de los bajos del auto, laterales y posteriores, para reducir ruido de rodadura.
La mecánica consiste en dos motores eléctricos, uno por cada eje, que proporcionan una potencia de 150 kW equivalentes a unos 204 caballos. La batería de iones de litio que los alimenta permite una autonomía de 450 kilómetros.
La plataforma utilizada para este auto coche no se corresponde con ninguna de las existentes en el Grupo PSA Peugeot-Citroën. Mide 3,81 metros de largo y 1,77 metros de ancho. Tiene elementos en fibra de carbono y dispone de una suspensión con altura al suelo variable que permite al vehículo adaptarse a diferentes tipos de terreno.
