Citroën Cactus M, el nuevo Mehari
La francesa presentará en el Salón Internacional del Automóvil de Frankfurt un concept car inspirado en el legendario descapotable. Todos sus detalles están pensados para la vida al aire libre.
Volver a las raíces. Con el Cactus M, Citroën decidió recuperar uno de los autos que marcó una gran parte de su historia, el Mehari. Así, el nuevo concept se luce moderno y hasta se puede decir “simpático”, con rasgos que definen su espíritu y sus valores pensados para disfrutar el tiempo libre y con un interior muy divertido gracias a su tapizado “surf”.
El Cactus M es una reinterpretación contemporánea de los valores que llevaron la creación del Mehari, tales como el bienestar y esparcimiento. Presentado junto con el C4 Cactus y el concept Aircross, demuestra también la coherencia de la Marca detrás de un estilo.
El nuevo concept se destaca por los laterales esculpidos alrededor de las ruedas para hacerlos más musculoso. Su parabrisas más recto, su altura de carrocería más elevada y su diámetro de ruedas aumentado refuerzan su personalidad volcada hacia el esparcimiento. En los laterales, las grandes puertas de plástico aportan liviandad, protección e identifican el vehículo. Finalmente, el habitáculo abierto permite acceder a los asientos de la fila 2 pasando por encima del lateral del auto apoyándose en un inserto situado en el lateral trasero; ya no hay barrera entre los pasajeros y el mundo que los rodea.
El diseño interior lo ilustra perfectamente por el uso de materiales técnicos surgidos de las actividades al aire libre. Para un uso sin resignar nada, el habitáculo es lavable. Inspirados en el mundo del surf, sus asientos fueron pensados como trajes de neoprene de color que ofrece confort y estanqueidad. Se distingue también por su modularidad, ofrecida principalmente por el arco de techo que permite a los pasajeros almacenar todo su material (wakeboard, windsurf, etc.).
