En poco más de un mes, quienes tengan un vehículo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, deberán cumplir con una nueva reglamentación antes de salir a la calle. Se trata de la realización de la Verificación Técnica Vehicular, un control que ya existe en otras provincias, como es el caso de la bonaerense. La misma será anual y deberán realizarlo todos los vehículos con una antigüedad superior a los tres años o que hubiesen transitado un recorrido mayor a 60.000 kilómetros desde su fabricación. Distinto es el caso de las motos, cuyos dueños deberán efectuarlo a partir del primer año del rodado. Para poder atender la enorme cantidad de chequeos, los responsables dispondrán de 11 talleres. En total, se estima que un millón de vehículos deberán realizar este testeo. El costo será de $614,31 para los automóviles, mientras que para las motos deberán abonar $184,30. Las fechas para realizarla están estipuladas por el Gobierno de la Ciudad según el número de terminación de la patente. Las terminadas en 1, tendrán que hacer la VTV primero, las que acaban en 2 al mes siguiente, luego las que finalizan en 3 y así sucesivamente. Vale recordar que la obligatoriedad de los controles estaba anunciada para julio, pero la demora en el acondicionamiento de los talleres generó la decisión de aplazarla un mes. De no contar con la VTV en regla, los controles policiales multarán al propietario por no cumplir los obligatorios de circulación. No realizar este chequeo es considerado falta grave por la legislación nacional y puede ocasionar una multa de hasta $16.000 según un informe de CESVI. Característica Es un control periódico que revisa el estado general de la mecánica del vehículo, de manera que se pueda asegurar que no representa un peligro para la sociedad ni contamina el medio ambiente. El examen verifica el funcionamiento de los frenos, neumáticos, dirección, emisión de ruidos y gases, estado del chasis, tren delantero, cinturón de seguridad y matafuego. Hay tres resultados posibles:- APROBADO (D.L.): tiene defectos leves que deberán modificarse antes de la próxima inspección pero no impiden su circulación.
- CONDICIONAL (D.G.): debe reinspeccionarse por defectos graves dentro de los 30 días, sin pagar nuevamente la tarifa.
- RECHAZADO (D.M.G.- N.A.C.): la gravedad de los defectos impide su circulación. Sólo se permite trasladarlo al taller y debe someterse a una nueva inspección en los 30 días subsiguientes sin posibilidad de circular hasta entonces.
